The North East England Science and Industry Council (S&IC) brings together 18 leading regional figures drawn from industry, academia and government agencies to provide advice and direction to shape the region’s strategy, policy and priorities on science, innovation and technology.
Its members are passionate about building the region as a rewarding place for science and engineering talent as well as a location of choice of innovative businesses in the technology sector.
Industry Leadership Councils are being established within the S&IC to mirror the region’s Pillars of Process, Energy and Health Sciences/Healthcare industries as set out in their early work set out in Strategy for Success.
